Upgrade Release News
We are pleased to advise that RMS v 8.10 will be officially released commencing early February.
Advance versions have been used by a number of properties for some time and we thank those people for their assistance. From early February we will be making 8.10 available for groups of properties at a time. You will be notified by email when 8.10 is available for your property.
Headline features of 8.10 are listed below we are revising help files to incorporate all new features these will be available with the upgrade. As is our practice, upgrades are provided at no additional cost and those sites already using earlier v8 versions will not require any additional training.
Release notes outlining new features and changes will be provided closer to the release.
Main features of RMS 8.10
Owner and Trust Accounting module a complete re-write of this popular model now provides additional reports, has much greater flexibility and is much easier to use. New reconciliation processes and end of month procedures are removing complexity from these important routines
Accounts Receivable module a new optional module which consolidates company accounts and makes managing company payments much easier.
Text Editor 2- an inbuilt word processor which is faster than Word and allows transmission of your emails in pdf format, ensuring formatting is not lost.
Night Audit a completely reworked routine which is more detailed and gives the flexibility of being able to run past dated reports.
Messaging- leave messages for customers and staff, with alerts and automatic screen pop ups to ensure each message is passed on.
Monitor Requirements set a requirement to remain on the To /Do list until it has been marked as completed
Charge Types by Company/ Travel Agent- set tariffs to apply to a specified company or travel agent only, create special tariffs for special customers
Correspondence- email your correspondence directly and combine with the Text Editor to ensure your formatting is not lost in transmission. Queue emails and printing to form a batch for processing when convenient for you.
Advancing accounting date- Properties can advance their accounting date without needing to obtain a daily password from RMS.
Countries now able to make groupings for Countries
Security Profile options have been increased, with additional operations and features now able to be restricted.
Audit trail an Audit tab has been added to the reservation screen to record changes to all major fields.
Interfaces - download your financial data to Quickbooks or MYOB using our new interface.
