Sensors for Facility Management

The CBS Group recently completed a trial with one of Australia's leading providers of Facilities Management services.   In the trial, a suite of sensors were installed to monitor power usage, vibration, and environmental parameters - publishing the data live to the web.

The trial verified the tangible savings through reduced attendance costs, demonstrated the use of sensors for improved amenity, and verified the quantum of energy savings possible through data driven decisions and servicing.

At CBS Group, we see the potential for these inexpensive sensors to be allow for remotely monitored 'on condition maintenance' and a new paradigm for maintenance planning.
